Study direction description

Studies are conducted on the basis of applicable regulations and applicable teacher education standards. They are addressed to teachers of the German language with no pedagogical training or people who intend to work as a teacher of German. The goals of education are related to the superior function of postgraduate studies, which is to enable participants to acquire both competences and formally recognized qualifications entitling them to practice the profession of a German language teacher in kindergarten and at three educational stages in the Polish education system.

What will you learn?

Use information technology, including its use in teaching German

Methodologies of teaching German, to the extent enabling effective teaching of the lessons, awakening cognitive interests and supporting the intellectual development of students by skilful selection of activating methods, teaching techniques and didactic aids, as well as examining and assessing students achievements and own practice.

Knowledge of the German language with particular emphasis on texts useful for teaching.

Developmental psychology and pedagogy, enabling the performance of educational and caring functions, supporting the comprehensive development of students, individualization of the teaching process, satisfying the special educational needs of students, organizing social life at the level of the class, school and local environment, cooperation with other teachers, parents and the local community.
